The Museum opened on 1 April 2017, with a large crowd keen to see this year’s special exhibition of the work of Elizabeth and Ted Odling, who spent their retirement on the island. Their daughter Noelle introduced them and then artist Alex Gourlay from Appin spoke about his long association with them which began when he was a student at the Glasgow School of Art where Ted taught for many years.
The shop was busy and the cafe very busy serving refreshments after the opening. Here’s a taste of the day. come.
