Museum Curators

Since the Museum Development Officers funded position finished, the work is being done by volunteers with Margaret Black as curator (Archive) and Bob Hay Curator (Objects).

Recently Jennifer Baker has been appointed to a part time paid post as project officer curating in the community. This will include visiting homes to discover what interesting historical objects may exist which tell the everyday story of Lismore, and finding out whether they may be lent to the Museum in the short or long term.

Jennifer is keen to hear from anyone who thinks they may have something of interest. She can be reached on lismoremuseum@btconnect.com or 01631 760 030.

The museum is also interested in hearing from anyone wishing to volunteer as it is entirely dependent on volunteers of which there are too many to mention. Their time is greatly valued and appreciated but more are always needed and welcome.
