Twelve Gaelic students enjoyed a weekend on Lismore having classes, socialising, and touring places of interest. They all came from Edinburgh but originally one had come from Austria, one from England and one from the North West Territories of Canada.
They arrived on Friday evening and on Saturday they had classes with their tutor assisted by Paddy MacNicol of Port Appin, a graduate of Sabhal Mor Ostaig, and Margaret MacDonald.
In the afternoon, in glorious weather, they toured the island, and in the evening they got together with Comann Eachdraidh members for a ceilidh.
