Christmas Fair at the Heritage

On Saturday – 11 December 2021 – the LISMORE CRAFT & FOOD CHRISTMAS FAIR went ahead at Lismore Gaelic Heritage Centre. Known as the one stop shop for Christmas shopping, it offered Lismore-made gifts and no air miles. There were 10 stalls selling island crafts, arts, and other goodies. There was also delicious food, mulled wine & hot chocolate served by Sarah & Dan in the Café, Lismore presents in the museum shop, and a raffle with great prizes including an £100 voucher from The Pierhouse Hotel in Port Appin. Thanks to them.

All covid rules were followed and the area was well ventilated. Last year, 2020, it was so sunny stalls were outside, but this year it was not so good. However it was a great success and the raffle made £181 for the Heritage Centre. Great thanks to the organisers, Iris Piers and Kirsty Wright and to Laura Gloag who has been opening the Museum shop during December to promote local shopping.
