Some Heritage You May Have Missed During Lockdown.
During 2020, Lismore featured twice in the Scottish Heritage magazine Historic Scotland, with articles on the famous botanist Dugald Carmichael (May/June issue) and on the work continuing round the parish church to reveal and interpret the rich history of the area (September/October). The Carmichael article is a shortened version of the piece published in issue 48 (2019) of the Appin Archive, and there was an article on Captain Hugh Anderson in issue 50 (2020). Below are samples:
