The Isle of Lismore is 10 miles long by 1 mile wide lying in Loch Linnhe at the southern end of the Great Glen. There are 2 ferry routes to the the island. If you need to bring a car on to Lismore then the Calmac operated Oban – Lismore – Oban service is the one to use. At the north end of Lismore you can cross from the pretty settlement of Port Appin on the 5 minute passenger only ferry operated by Argyll & Bute Council. Our centre is situated approximately 3.5 miles from each of the ferry terminals so to walk there would take around one hour. To cycle would also be a very pleasant journey as the island does not have many difficult hills to negotiate. There is also a taxi service available on the island.
